SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Running to Stand Still," the midseason finale of "The Flash."

In the season two midseason finale of "The Flash," Zoom wants to see Barry go from "Running to Stand Still" -- with the help of Earth-2's Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh).

The episode opened with Zoom attacking Wells in the STAR Labs basement and pressuring him to make a decision; at the time, Zoom doesn't say what choice Wells has been forced to make, but it is clear how long Wells has to answer it: 24 hours. The impending decision obviously haunts Wells throughout the episode, and he tells Zoom he doesn't want any of Team Flash to be hurt in the process -- which reveals he does care about them, no matter how hard he tries to hide it.

During the stinger, Zoom reveals his intentions: he wants Wells to help Barry become faster and stronger so that he has more Speed Force for when Zoom steals his speed. Wells demands to see his daughter Jesse (Violett Beane) before he makes his decision; after seeing her, however, he agreed to help Zoom steal Barry's Speed Force.

Starring Grant Gustin, Carlos Valdes and Jesse L. Martin, "The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8 pm EST on The CW.
