Fresh off facing a Shogun warrior in feudal Japan, the Legends find themselves in the middle of a Civil War. Not one with superheroes fighting each other, THE actual Civil War. The new promo for the fourth episode of Season Two, titled" Abominations," also shows another issue that needs dealt with. If it wasn't enough peril for our time-traveling heroes, facing off against the prejudice of the time, they'll have to face off with -- don't say it -- zombies.
Dressed in their most dapper duds from the late 1800s, the group finds themselves having to deal with the preconceived notions of the era, as well as protecting themselves, and Union soldiers, from the undead. The past seems likes a perfect time for historian Nathan Heywood, and his new alter ego "Steel," to make an impression, but first they'll have to explain to the soldiers what a zombie actually is. Something that Ray Palmer is excited by, and Martin Stein is less than thrilled to deal with.
SURVIVAL — When the Legends discover a time Aberration in 1863, they find themselves fighting for survival during the Civil War with Confederate soldiers who have been turned into zombies. With the Civil War outcome hanging in the balance, Jax (Franz Drameh) must participate in a daring mission by going to a slave plantation with Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers).
Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) begins to feel the burden of the decisions she has to make as the leader, and Ray (Brandon Routh) struggles to find his purpose on the team. Victor Garber, Dominic Purcell and Nick Zano also star.
Michael Allowitz directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Ray Utarnachitt. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. “Abominations” will debut on November 3.
