The eagerly anticipated sequel to Zombieland opens in theaters everywhere in less than a month and Sony has released character posters for the comedy-horror film, providing better looks at the returning cast and new characters joining the ensemble.

Featuring a colorful, blood-spattered background, the latest posters for Zombieland: Double Tap spotlight returning protagonists Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), Wichita (Emma Stone) and Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg). New characters include Luke Wilson's Albuquerque, Thomas Middleditch's Flagstaff, Avan Jogia's Berkeley, Zoey Deutch's Madison and Rosario Dawson's Nevada.

Albuquerque and Flagstaff will share visible similarities to Tallahassee and Columbus, while Madison is a ditzy young woman who has surprisingly survived the zombie apocalypse. Nevada is a strong survivor who commiserates with Tallahassee over drinks after they cross paths. Berkeley is a young, free-spirited hitchhiker picked up by Little Rock as the group travels across the country.

Featuring returning writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and director Ruben Fleischer, Double Tap takes place approximately a decade after the events of the first film as the main characters travel across the remnants of the United States, encountering new survivors while fighting off evolved zombies.
