Speaking with Vulture, Reese and Wernick (Deadpool, Deadpool 2) described just what kind of gift would be best to celebrate 10 years since the debut of the horror comedy. “Zombieland came out October of 2009," Wernick said. "We don’t know what you get someone for their tenth anniversary, but it may be a Zombieland 2.

With the original cast, by the way.” That means we can assume Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin are at least in the know about those plans. The writers admitted they are "sitting on information" they can't share just yet, but their forthrightness and enthusiasm is encouraging after almost a decade of teasing Zombieland 2.
