When there’s some zombies in your neighborhood, who're you gonna call? If you're the filmmakers behind Zombieland 2: The Double Tap, you might call former Ghostbusters stars Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray, who've both reportedly joined the zombie sequel.

According to a new report from The Geeks Worldwide, both former Saturday Night Live actors will be playing fictional versions of themselves, although the details of their potential appearance has not been made public. Memorably, Bill Murray made a cameo as himself in 2009’s Zombieland, where he hilariously managed to survive the zombie apocalypse by pretending to be a zombie until he was ironically killed in a prank gone wrong.

Murray may return as a true zombie possibly, alongside an undead Aykroyd or their appearance could happen in a pre-apocalypse flashback. Zombieland 2 will reportedly feature "super-zombies," and Murray or Aykroyd could appear as one of those, or another type of ghoulish creature, as well.

Both actors made cameos in the 2016 Ghostbusters, a reboot of the 1984 supernatural comedy they originally starred in alongside Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis and Annie Potts. Both actors also appeared together as Ghostbusters in 1989's Ghostbusters II, but a long-rumored third Ghostbusters movie never materialized before Ramis' death in 2014.

The sequel to the popular zombie comedy has confirmed the return of Jesse Eisenberg as Columbus, Woody Harrelson as Tallahassee, Emma Stone as Wichita, and Abigail Breslin as Little Rock from the first movie with Venom’s Ruben Fleischer returning to direct a script written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The movie is scheduled to be released October 11, 2019, which marks the 10-year anniversary of the original film’s release.
