Deadpool 2 premiered tonight in New York City, and Variety took the opportunity to ask actress Zazie Beetz — who plays Domino in the film — if she had any thoughts on Donald Glover's leaked script for FX's now-canceled animated Deadpool TV series.

Beetz and Glover star together on FX's Atlanta, also created and written by Glover. Beetz distanced herself, for the most part, saying, "Honestly, I don't even want to get involved."

Glover released pages of what looked to be the script for an episode of the Deadpool series back in March. The "leak" — the pages were likely actually written after the cancellation — was Glover's response to insinuations that his other film and television projects had kept him from putting in time on the Deadpool series. Whether he confided in his Atlanta co-star or not, Beetz keeps her comments positive and vague saying, "You know what, I'm always proud of him no matter what he does."

Glover was working on the animated series with his brother Stephen Glover, and from what he's said, the series was likely canceled due to its out-there nature and the Glovers' attempt to push the limits of what the network could handle. This, apparently, included an episode focused on Taylor Swift, and not likely one she'd find endearing.

Glover stars as Lando Calrissian in the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars film, releasing May 25, and Atlanta Season 2 recently wrapped up on FX.
