Zack Snyder's Justice League may cost upwards of $30 million to complete.

WarnerMedia Chairman Bob Greenblatt discussed the budget for the production in an interview with Recode Media podcast, and while he didn't give an exact number for how much Zack Snyder's Justice League will cost to put together, he did indicate it would be costly to create Snyder's vision for the project.

"It isn’t as easy as going into the vault and there’s a Snyder Cut sitting there to put out," Greenblatt said. "It does not exist. Zack is actually building it, and it’s complex, including new VFX shots. It’s a radical rethinking of that movie and it’s complicated and wildly expensive. I’ll just say I wish it was just $30 million and stop there. It’s an enormous undertaking and very complex."

This "enormous undertaking" comes on the heels of a massive fan campaign calling for the release of Zack Snyder's original vision of Justice League. This campaign resulted in the announcement that Zack Snyder's Justice League would be released in 2021 on HBO Max.

To make that release date, work has already begun on Zack Snyder's Justice LeagueThough discussions are ongoing on whether the project will be a four-hour director's cut or a six-part TV series, Snyder and his wife and producing partner Deborah are already assembling the original postproduction crew to finish visual effects.
