UPDATE: The live stream is now up and running on Vero.

Late last night, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder announced he would be doing a live-streamed watch party of the DC Extended Universe film on his Vero account. However, it seems that the watch party has overloaded the system.

As of this writing, the entire Vero website -- aside from the homepage -- is down. Users trying to set up a Vero account to participate in the watch party are unable to do so, and those with accounts already are greeted with blank screens. The stream has now moved to YouTube.

Snyder, who is an ambassador for the social media platform, has often used Vero to share photos and updates on his various projects, including the rumored Snyder Cut of Justice League. He recently used it to share a photo of the five original heroes from the film.

Directed by Zack Snyder and written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot. The film is available on Digital HD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD.
