With Zack Snyder's Justice League now streaming on HBO MAX, one of the questions that keep coming up is whether or not Snyder has seen the Whedon cut of the film or if he has any intention of seeing it. Snyder confirmed earlier that he hasn't seen the Whedon cut. However, now that his own version of the film is being viewed, Snyder is now open to the possibility of seeing Whedon's version of his film.

When asked about what elements of the film Snyder was most excited to restore with his own cut, the director responded in his interview with IMDB, "you know, because I haven't seen the theatrical version of the movie and how it ended up, I was never really sure — and I'm still not — maybe, at some point, I'll take a look at it, but I'm still not exactly sure what roles were maybe diminished or removed. Of course, number one on the list — you know, for me — is Ray Fisher's Cyborg story being released. Central to the entire movie."

In the same interview, Snyder's wife and producer, Deborah Snyder, further elaborated on the differences between her husband's cut of the film and the version director Joss Whedon put together for the theatrical release in 2017.

"I feel like in the shorter version, you got a snapshot of who they were, and I think in order to care about them at that end, in order for the arcs to be completed, you have to understand, really, what their conflicts were, what they went through to finally become the heroes that we see at the end of the movie."

As Deborah Snyder continued to share her thoughts on both cuts of the film, she admitted one of the challenges she faced watching the theatrical cut without passing judgment was sitting in the cinema and experiencing a version of the film she felt was "vastly different" from her husband's original vision.

Zack Snyder's Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ray Porter as Darkseid, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. The film is now streaming on HBO Max.
