Those who were disappointed by the lack of trailers for Zack Snyder's Justice League at this weekend's Justice Con won't have to wait much longer.

During his panel at the event, Snyder revealed that a teaser trailer for his film would debut at DC FanDome on August 22. (You can hear his comments around the 57-minute mark in the video below). He also said that the movie's real title would be unveiled at the event and that he would announce whether the project is going to be a TV miniseries or a full-length feature. While not confirming anything, Snyder did note that he prefers the episodic format.

The trailer won't be the first look fans get at the film. Last month, Snyder posted a clip of Wonder Woman learning about Darkseid on Twitter, while a clip of Superman wearing his black suit was aired during his Justice Con panel.

The announcement of the Snyder Cut ended the two-and-a-half-year movement that pushed for its release. It began when the film first premiered in theaters following reports that Snyder's version of the movie had been heavily altered by Warner Bros. and new director Joss Whedon after Snyder had to step down due to a family tragedy. Many blame those two parties for the film's subpar critical reception and argue that Snyder's product is far superior and fits more coherently with his previous two films in the DCEU canon: Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Other TV and movie projects being featured at DC FanDome include Aquaman 2, The Batman, Batwoman, Black Adam, Black Lightning, DC Super Hero Girls, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, DC’s Stargirl, Doom Patrol, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Lucifer, Pennyworth, SHAZAM! 2, The Suicide Squad, Supergirl, Superman & Lois, Teen Titans GO!, Titans, Watchmen, Young Justice: Outsiders and Wonder Woman 1984.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. Zack Snyder's Justice League will premiere exclusively on HBO Max in early to mid-2021.
