Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the best-reviewed DC Extended Universe film directed by Zack Snyder, according to Rotten Tomatoes.

The four-hour director's cut of Justice League currently holds a 76% critic rating based on 107 reviews. This makes it the first of Snyder’s DCEU films to have a shot at receiving a Certified Fresh stamp from the review-aggregation website, should the positive trend continue. The site's Critics Consensus reads, "Zack Snyder's Justice League lives up to its title with a sprawling cut that expands to fit the director's vision -- and should satisfy the fans who willed it into existence."

The majority of the film's reviews thus far have trended positive, with Variety's Owen Gleiberman calling it "grand, nimble, and immersive entertainment," though some negative reactions have also surfaced, such as The Hollywood Reporter's John DeFore, who describes the film as "nearly unendurable as a single-sitting experience" and "just as unenjoyable as the original." CBR's review by Sandy Schaefer says "[The] movie feels like a true sequel to Man of Steel and Batman v Superman in ways Whedon's version did not... Even those who disagree with Snyder's interpretation of DC's finest on a fundamental level may appreciate the smaller improvements here, like the absence of the infamous shot from Whedon's film where the camera ogles Diana. It might even change their minds a little about Snyder's work after all."

While critics got an early screening of the upcoming DC film, some fans have also been given got a taste of Zack Snyder's Justice League before its release on March 18, albeit accidentally. A brief glitch on HBO Max saw the superhero film accidentally play instead of the recently released Tom & Jerry. The situation was quickly corrected by HBO Max, but not before scenes of the unreleased film leaked online, including the highly anticipated Knightmare sequence.

Rotten Tomatoes has not yet posted an audience score for Zack Snyder's Justice League.
