Darkseid is... officially coming to HBO Max.Zack Snyder's Justice League is set to release on HBO Max sometime in 2021. The film, which will reportedly be given a budget of $20-30 million to be completed, will finally introduce Darkseid to the DC Extended Universe. "He's coming... to HBO Max," the director tweeted, along with an image of Darkseid from one of the cut scenes of his version of Justice League. The villain can also be seen flanked by a legion of Apokolips troops.

This isn't the first time Snyder has revealed a look at Darkseid from his version of the film. In the past year, the director has shared multiple images and VFX mock-ups of the villain.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as the Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. Snyder's cut of the film is slated to arrive on HBO Max in 2021.
