Recognizing a familiar voice in the heavily dissected Knightmare sequence of Batman v Superman, one fan asked Snyder on the social media platform Vero whether the line "Yeah, we got it" was delivered by him. The filmmaker replied, "Got me."

As Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne is lured into a trap with a shipment of fake Kryptonite, a henchman delivers the line, dubbed with Snyder's voice. Depicting an apocalyptic future of Parademons and an evil Superman, the Knightmare timeline was to have a larger meaning for the future of the DCEU under Snyder's stewardship.

Snyder has regularly revealed behind-the-scenes secrets of "his" DCEU on social media, with details about potential storylines, deleted scenes, and what might have been.

Batman v Superman aficionados will know this wasn't the only time Snyder appears in the movie: His hands served as a stand-in for Affleck. That said, Batman v Superman is Snyder's first appearance in the DCEU that has been confirmed so far.

The director went on to appear as a U.S. soldier in Wonder Woman, and can be seen sitting in a cafe during Justice League. In fact, the director has a long history of appearing in his own movies and has previously popped up in the likes of Watchmen and Dawn of the Dead.

It's interesting to note that even two years after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hit theaters, there are still details to discover in Snyder's superhero team-up movie. It raises the question, what else has everyone missed over the years?
