Justice League and Army of the Dead director Zack Snyder weighed in on the Batman/Catwoman sex debate with an NSFW drawing.

Snyder shared the image, which shows Batman, performing the act in question on Catwoman, on his Twitter account with the concise caption "Canon." It is unclear where the image came from.

The debate began when Harley Quinn co-showrunner Justin Halpern said that DC told him to cut a scene "where Batman was going down on Catwoman...[They said,] 'You can't do that. You absolutely cannot do that.' They’re like, 'Heroes don’t do that.' So, we said, 'Are you saying heroes are just selfish lovers?' They were like, 'No, it’s that we sell consumer toys for heroes. It's hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.'" This led to a Change.com petition titled "Let the Bat Eat the Cat," which asks DC to reverse its position and add the scene into the series. As of this writing, the petition has 306 signatures.

Snyder is not the only one to weigh in on the debate. Batman Forever's Val Kilmer also gave his opinion, posting a GIF of the movie with the caption "Does he or doesn't he…?"

Harley Quinn stars Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Diedrich Bader, Alan Tudyk, Rahul Kohli, Christopher Meloni, Tony Hale, Ron Funches, Wanda Sykes, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Giancarlo Esposito, Jason Alexander, J.B. Smoove and Sam Richardson. Season 3 has yet to receive a premiere date.
