Zack Snyder has shared a cryptic photo for his upcoming Army of the Dead Netflix movie.
The photo was shared to the Vero social media platform and features a round, shiny circular object resting on what appears to be a casino table. There are hundred dollar bills lying around the object, which also appears to be attached to a green rod. Snyder captioned the photo with the hashtags #AOTD and #vfx.
Army of the Dead follows a group of mercenaries during the zombie apocalypse heading out on a heist, and is a spiritual successor to 2004's Dawn of the Dead, which marked Snyder's directorial debut. The film will be Snyder's next big movie project after Justice League, which he had to depart for personal family reasons. So far fans have seen a behind-the-scenes photo of the cast
Based on a story by Zack Snyder and a screenplay from Joby Harold, who recently wrote King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Army of the Dead stars Dave Bautista, Garret Dillahunt, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Raul Castillo, Chris D’Elia, Theo Rossi and Ana de la Reguera. The film does not yet have a release date.
