Tomoyo can control time, which means that even without a Domain Expansion of his own, Tomoyo’s powers would easily bring Yuji to Sato’s level in terms of effortlessly defeating his enemies. This means he would have a reliable partner not only on the battlefield but at home as well.
9 Yona: Having Lost Her Family, She Would Easily Be Able To Empathize With Yuji (Yona Of The Dawn)
Like Yuji, Yona witnessed a loved one die in front of her, which changed her life permanently. While she’s a regular teenage girl, she bears the same burdens as him and works her hardest to overcome her flaws and insecurities so that she can keep her loved ones safe.
It would be genuinely tough for Yuji to find someone he can connect with so strongly on an emotional level.
8 Nanami: This OP Girl Would Gladly Die While Fighting By Yuji’s Side (Katanagatari)
Even without the Deviant Blades, Nanami is a force to be reckoned with. She is a quick learner and she could easily learn jujutsu techniques simply by the powers of observation (like she did in her own universe).
Yuji would also be lucky to have this girl’s superhuman abilities by his side, especially her ability to see her opponent’s attacks. With the right guidance, she could easily become the strongest female sorcerer, which in turn would encourage Yuji to push beyond his limits so he could be worthy enough to stand by her side.
7 Touka: Yuji’s Calm Would Be Perfect For The Storm Within Her (Tokyo Ghoul)
Touka oscillates between being kind and ruthless because of her abandonment issues, which led to her feeling unwanted and unloved. However, Yuji could not only help calm her down but also make her believe she’s loved and wanted in his universe.
In turn, Touka would teach Yuji to show less sympathy, especially towards cursed spirits or humans who want nothing but destruction. Both would help the other come out of their shell and improve upon their flaws, making it a beautifully symbiotic relationship.
6 Shiro: Her Wretched Egg Powers Would Ensure She’d Never Be A Liability For Yuji (Deadman Wonderland)
Shiro’s strong feelings for Yuji would ensure that she’d keep him out of harm’s way at all costs (like she did with Ganta), even if it means sacrificing herself. Her Wretched Egg ability would ensure instantaneous regeneration of any wounds, her ability to fly would mean she’d easily get out of tough situations, and her Branch of Sin could easily slaughter multiple cursed humans in one go.
Simply put, Shiro and Sukuna/Yuji would be the perfect partners on the battlefield. On an emotional level, the two would bond over their tragic pasts, as well as having no one to call “family.”
5 Shinoa: Her Demon Powers Would Make Her A Formidable Opponent (Seraph Of The End)
Shinoa is a fun and cheerful girl who also loves to tease and mock those around her. Despite this, she is someone who loves intensely and would go to great lengths to ensure her partner’s safety, even if it meant sacrificing her own life, a trait that Yuji himself possesses.
When fighting alongside Yuji, the demon within her (Shikama Dōji) would obliterate whoever posed a threat to her (or Yuji, by extension), making her an important asset on the field.
4 Chiho: This Sweet Girl Would Be A Breath Of Fresh Air In Yuji’s Violent World (The Devil Is A Part-Timer)
It would be impossible for Yuji to find love like a normal high-schooler because of Sukuna living inside him. However, this wouldn’t be a problem for a sweet and kind girl like Chiho Sasaki, who would look at Yuji as Yuji, and not as Sukuna.
She would not only accept Yuji and forgive him for the actions of Sukuna (like she did with Maou in her world), but her optimistic nature and strict moral values would ensure that Sukuna would never be able to drag Yuji down a dark path.
3 Nagisa: His Blood-Lust Would Help Overcome Yuji’s Hesitation To Kill His Enemies (Assassination Classroom)
Like Yuji, Nagisa is a calm and collected young boy and exactly like Yuji, he gives in to his bloodlust only when he feels he or his loved ones are being threatened.
However, unlike Yuji who acts first and thinks later, Nagisa is a quiet and very observant young boy who always notes down the weaknesses of his target. He could easily teach Yuji to rely less on his powers (or Sukuna), to focus more on his enemies’ flaws, and use them against his opponents on the battlefield.
2 Blue Rose: This Teenage Girl Lives A Dual Life, Exactly Like Yuji (Tiger & Bunny)
On the surface, both Karina and Yuji are regular teenagers who indulge in normal teenage activities. However, both lead secret lives where they fight opponents much stronger than them to keep their cities safe.
If there’s anyone out there who could understand the kind of life Yuji lives and the emotional toll it takes for one to hide their real selves, it would be Karina, aka Blue Rose.
1 Hiyori: She Accepts Supernatural Creatures With An Open Heart (Noragami)
Like Chiho, Hiyori is a brave and kind-hearted girl who makes friends and lovers based on what she sees inside a person’s soul, and not based on who they were born as. In fact, she would be one step ahead of Chiho and would actively help Yuji figure out a way to expel Sukuna from his body permanently.
She’s sharp and perceptive (she was the only one who figured out Yato’s real name) and delving into mythology to help her lover would be the least she could do for him.
