10 POT OF GREED

The Pot of Greed is a card that has gained popularity just because of how broken this card is. The thing about this card is the fact that it isn't super lame because of its design or anything. In fact, it has a pretty okay design. The lame thing about this card is the fact that it is braindead broken and overpowered which has added a lame factor to even looking this pot in the face.

The Pot of Greed is entirely too broken and way too generic. This card presents no drawbacks and no reasoning for not abusing it in any deck, as just about every deck benefits from this easy card. Thankfully it was banned.

9 MAGICAL SCIENTIST

The Magical Scientist card is one that isn't too cool design-wise. It's not the worst but it is nowhere near as cool looking as the other awesome cards with the power level that it has. In fact, Magical Scientist is one of those cards that many fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh! consider one of the most broken.

Many cards of this strength in the series have a once per turn effect. Well, this one doesn't have that restriction and in turn, becomes one of the most annoyingly strong cards in the entire game.

8 SNATCH STEAL

Snatch Steal is one of those cards whose art would lead one to think it's mostly just a basic effect card. However, this card is much more powerful than its art would actually make you believe. Snatch Steal is another one of those very annoying cards that are very strong.

It's a card that is broken but doesn't deserve banning due to the counterplay around its effect. That's more than what can be said for other cards similar to it.

7 CONFISCATION

The spell card Confiscation is one that tries to balance itself out due to the LP cost attached to it but its strength definitely outweighs that negative. This card is basically a chance at breaking the game and shifting everything into the user's favor once thrown onto the field.

Being able to look at your opponent's hand is just something that should never be in a card game in the first place. With the added choice of taking their best cards and taking them from their hand it's just messed up.

6 HARPIE'S FEATHER DUSTER

Yeah, your cards literally get dusted by a feather duster. Harpie's Feather Duster is one of those pretty darn boring cards in design, but where it lacks in card art it excels in how broken and annoying it can be.

Not only does this card give the user a lot of advantage with minimal cost, but it literally gives free destruction of the opponent's cards. It's ridiculous how the drop of this single card can throw off a gameplan with no negatives attached at all.

5 THE SWORDS OF REVEALING LIGHT

While this card isn't too broken in the actual card game, it got a whole lot of mileage in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime counterpart. In the anime, this card showed up time after time to save Yugi from the worst situations possible. The worst part is that it doesn't even give fans any cool art to look at.

It prevents the opponent from attacking for three turns and gives the one that played the card three free turns to attack. Kind of got boring to see multiple times in the anime.

4 SIXTH SENSE

The Sixth Sense card is one with a rather boring design as well. It's one of those cards that just has a design that one would look at and think "okay" and send it to the back of their deck. Many are probably familiar with this reaction to human card art from when they were younger.

However, once you get eyes on the actual effect of the card it's easy to see why it's so hated. It gives one of the best grave setups in the game if played right.

3 PREMATURE BURIAL

The thing about this card's design that makes it lame is the fact that it's so much like other "from the dead" and "graveyard" cards. The basic design of it at least mirrors the basic broken usage of the card as well.

Premature Burial is easy to use and is one of those cards that will keep the user playing forever, as it is able to effortlessly bring countless cards back from the graveyard.

2 MIRROR FORCE

mirror force from Yu-Gi-Oh

Another honorable mention from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime is the Mirror Force card. No one would expects a trap card with a boring design like this to save the series protagonist so many times, but here we are. Mirror force is a card that shows up and gets Yugi the victory time and time again.

This card is one that has countlessly turned things around over and over again in the anime. It is able to destroy five monster cards at once if activated.

1 ROYAL OPPRESSION

Want a card that was literally made only to make another card broken? Well, Royal Oppression might be of high interest then. Many comebacks in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! have been brought to a screeching halt due to this card with rather okay art.

All that is needed is for the user to summon the biggest monster card they have and then have this activated and there's going to be an almost instant win.
