Seto Kaiba is most known for being able to screw the rules because he has money and being an avid fan of dragons that are white with blue eyes. If you ever get the chance to watch Kaiba duel, you know that he's going to play 1-3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons throughout the battle. Today, we're going to take a look at every variation of Blue-Eyes White Dragon that Kaiba has had in his deck throughout the years. As a note, all anime card effects were taken from the Yu-Gi-Oh! wiki.

8 Blue-Eyes White Dragon

Kaiba and Blue-eyes in Yu-Gi-Oh!

The blueprint. The standard. The icon. A vanilla monster with 3000 attack points, this is Kaiba's signature card. Often locked in a duel with Yugi's Dark Magician, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon made appearance after appearance in the anime under the control of Seto Kaiba. While this is without a doubt the most recognizable monster on the list, it can also be considered one of the weakest of the bunch.

7 Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon

Combining three Blue-Eyes White Dragons gets you a single Blue-Eyes White Dragon with three heads. Well, that's incredibly fair.

Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is a Fusion monster with 4500 attack points, making it an absolute beatstick. However, just like its original counterpart, is incredibly weak due to its lack of effects and any sort of method to keep itself on the field. While this is another iconic card for Kaiba, it isn't on the level of some of the later monsters on the list.

6 Paladin of White Dragon

Paladin of White Dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh

The Paladin of White Dragon is an odd one, being a level four Ritual Monster that can be tributed at any time to summon a Blue-Eyes White Dragon that cannot attack on the same turn. While it has a few other effects and some adorable card art (look at that baby Blue-Eyes), it just isn't a card that has any sort of viability. Why burn three cards at a minimum specifically in order to summon a Blue-Eyes that can't even attack the turn that it's summoned? A normal Tribute Summon makes a lot more sense, making this card strange in general.

5 Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon

Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon

Created for the mess of a movie that is Pyramid of Light, Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon is a retrained Blue-Eyes that can only be summoned by sacrificing a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. The card gains 300 attack points for every Dragon in the Graveyard, Spell and Monster card effects don't affect Shining Dragon, and at any time it can be tributed to destroy any cards you wish. Some weird anime effect wording there, but this is definitely a better version of Blue-Eyes, even if its cost to summon is absolutely insane. Still, with four dragons in the Graveyard at a minimum at the time of its summoning, you're already in a pretty solid spot.

4 Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon

Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon is another retrained Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and can only be Special Summoned by revealing the original dragon to be in your hand. Once per turn, this card can destroy a monster of your choice, but it cannot attack on the same turn that this effect is activated.

While Blue-Eyes Alternative Dragon is useful for its easy summoning condition, it still isn't really worth using over, you guessed it, some of the other cards on this list.

3 Deep-Eyes White Dragon

Deep-Eyes White Dragon is easily one of the best versions of the monster on this list. When Level 8 or higher Dragon is destroyed, you can Special Summon this card. Its attack equals a Dragon monster from the Graveyard of your choice. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, inflict 600 damage to your opponent for each Dragon in the Graveyard. When this card is destroyed, destroy all monsters your opponent controls.

Now that, that is a better Blue-Eyes card. If it's going to go down, it is taking literally the entire field with it. That's how you make both an entrance and an exit.

2 Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon

An absolute unit of a card, Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon is one of the Blue-Eyes cards that Kaiba uses in The Dark Side of Dimensions movie. The card has a whole host of abilities, with one of the most important being that it cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects. It also deals piercing battle damage, and with 4000 attack points, that can pack quite a bit of a punch if your opponent isn't ready for it.

1 Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon

Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon from Yu-Gi-Oh!

Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is the retrained version of Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon that Seto Kaiba so desperately needed. Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is a Fusion Monster that requires three Blue-Eyes White Dragons, shockingly. Once per Duel, if you have a regular ol' Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon in your Extra Deck, this card can attack 3 times, wowee that sure is ridiculous. If you use this effect, destroy this card at the end of the Battle Phase. That's fair. While this card is in your Graveyard, any Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon you control cannot be targeted and is unaffected by the effects of your opponent's Spells, Traps, and monsters. Sure. This is sort of a weird card in its anime form. It makes a lot more sense in its official version, but it still certainly gets the job done in the anime. Getting a regular Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon onto the field after this card is destroyed has to be an absolute TASK, though.
