The following contains spoilers for Young Sheldon Season 6, Episode 5, "An Ugly Car, an Affair and Some Kickass Football," which debuted Thursday, Nov. 3 on CBS.

Sheldon Cooper was always the main character on The Big Bang Theory. He spent his time playing Bazinga-worthy practical jokes, practicing physics and leaning how to live life as a genius. Most of that was done in the company of friends like Leonard, Howard, Raj and Penny. Very rarely did any of Sheldon's family members actual appearances -- which is why Young Sheldon was so interesting.

Fans of TBBT finally got to see Sheldon's early life, his upbringing and what made him into who he was. In both series, Sheldon loved to show off his intelligence in often demeaning ways -- but recently, the show is taking him down a notch. Young Sheldon has shown that the boy genius wasn't the only remarkable member of his family. In fact, he's started to fade into the background.

Georgie Is an Excellent Salesman

Young Sheldon's Georgie and Mandy

When Georgie lied about his age and got Many pregnant, it changed everyone's lives. Mary was ostracized from the church, Mandy's parents wouldn't speak to her and tensions rose in the Cooper household. However, Georgie has done his best to make up for everything. When fans met Georgie on TBBT, they learned that he was the owner of a chain of tire stores. In Young Sheldon, he's putting those sales skills to good use.

Mandy wanted nothing to do with Georgie, but she's been warming up to him in Season 6 -- and helping complete the series. Georgie went and got her stuff out of her old apartment and got Meemaw to let Mandy stay with her. In Season 6, Episode 5, "An Ugly Car, an Affair and Some Kickass Football," Georgie took an even bigger step: he traded in his Mustang for a station wagon. It was a terrible trade because the new car was hideous, but Georgie knew he wanted his kid to be safe. He was showing off how far he's come by closing the deal he wanted, even if it wasn't one anyone else would have wanted.

Missy Is Confident in Herself -- For Now

Young Sheldon's Missy raising her hand

Unfortunately, Missy is sometimes seen as "the other twin" by those around her. Because Sheldon is so smart, everyone gives him attention -- but Missy doesn't let that bother her. In "An Ugly Car, an Affair and Some Kickass Football," Sheldon was talking about the possibility of Mandy having twins. He said that would double the chances of having a "remarkable" child like him. Under her breath, Missy added that it also doubled the chances of having a child people would like -- obviously contrasting herself with Sheldon.

Missy has always been confident in herself even if she's not the family genius. She fought for a chance to play baseball, she punched a kid in Sunday School for talking bad about Georgie and she found a way to put up with Sheldon. Missy knew that Sheldon was remarkable, but she also knew she was special in her own way and could accomplish anything that she set her mind to. Unfortunately, Young Sheldon will change that at some point. George has his affair with Brenda and dies soon after. That has a negative impact on Missy and leads to her being the least successful of the Cooper children on TBBT. But for now, seeing her self-confidence is a reminder that Sheldon wasn't the only important Cooper sibling.

Young Sheldon airs Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. on CBS and streams on Paramount+.
