If you can smell what the Rock is cooking with his new biopic sitcom Young Rock, it's a very fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes.According to Rotten Tomatoes, Young Rock currently boasts not only a 91 percentage critical rating, but also a 94 percent based on average audience scores. Young Rock will explore various stages of Johnson's life and how these life experiences led to him becoming one of the most recognizable stars in both professional wrestling and the film industry. Key familial relationships in the show include Johnson growing up as the son of professional wrestler Rocky Johnson (Joseph Lee Anderson) and his wife Ata (Stacey Leilua Ata) in Hawaii, as well as his close friendships with iconic wrestling figures like André the Giant (Matthew Willig) and Randy Savage (Kevin Makely). These memories will be narrated by a future version of Johnson in the year 2032, played by himself, as part of the Rock's run for the White House as a Presidential candidate.

In addition to producing Young Rock and serving as host of The Titan Games, Johnson will star in two upcoming 2021 movies: Jungle Cruise with Emily Blunt, and Red Notice with Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds. He's also set to play the lead character in DC's Black Adam movie, which will begin production this year.

Created by Nahnatchka Khan and produced by Johnson, Young Rock stars Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant and Uli Latukefu in the titular role with Stacey Leilua Ata and Joseph Lee Anderson as his parents Ata and Rocky. The series airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
