Young Rock announced who will portray WWE legends, Randy Savage and Vince McMahon.

The NBC television series focused on Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's childhood upbringing and wrestling family, cast comedian Adam Ray as Vince McMahon and Kevin Makely as Randy Savage, aka 'Macho Man,' as confirmed by The Wrap.

Ray (Ghostbusters) will portray McMahon "circa 1982," when 'The Rock' first "shook his hand." Johnson recently tweeted out his support of Ray's portrayal, noting that he did a "great job" in showing the character's ambition, drive guts and "a wicked sense of humor."

McMahon's official character description for Young Rock reads, "Bold, ambitious and quickly rising through the ranks of his father’s company, the future WWE Chairman and Owner is a great friend and supporter of Lia’s and a trusted confidant when things get difficult for her with a rival."

Makely (Badland) will portray the Tower of Power on Young Rock. The official character description for 'The Macho Man' reads, "One of the all-time greats, the Macho Man is known for his larger-than-life style and outsized personality both in and out of the ring. At only 10 years old, young Dewey was enamored with his unmatched wrestling ability and unique promotional flair and knew immediately he wanted to be just like him when he grew up. His originality and unforgettable catchphrases were a huge influence on him. Ooooh yeah!"

The actor recently shared a first look at his character on Instagram, noting, "I am BEYOND excited and humbled to officially announce that I have the honor of portraying my wrestling hero, the larger than life, the Tower of Power, The one, the only MACHO MAN Randy Savage in the upcoming series @nbcyoungrock."

Young Rock's 11-episode comedy series will center on the titular star's rough upbringing, one that included multiple prison stints, and how that propelled him to stardom - first as a college football star and later in both the squared circle and on the big screen. It will also chronicle the early years of WWE from the '80s and onward.

Created by Nahnatchka Khan and produced by Johnson, Young Rock stars Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant and Uli Latukefu as the titular role with Stacey Leilua Ata and Joseph Lee Anderson as his parents Ata and Rocky. Young Rock will premiere on NBC on Feb. 16.
