Those who feared they might have to again wait several years for another installment of Young Justice don't need to worry any longer.
After a new episode of the series was screened during the DC Universe presentation at Comic-Con International in San Diego, producers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti revealed the show would not only return for a fourth season, but that production has already started.
The first season of Young Justice released in 2010. The acclaimed show receive a follow-up season, Young Justice: Invasion, in 2012. However, the program was put on an extended hiatus in 2013, on which it remained until Young Justice: Outsiders was announced in 2016. The newest season premiered earlier this year on DC Universe.
The subtitle and release date for the fourth season is not known at the time of reporting.
Young Justice follows various teenaged superheros and sidekicks on their own team. A number of different superheroes have appeared on the show over the years, though its mainstays have been Dick Grayson/Robin/Nightwing, Kaldur'ahm/Aqualad, Wally West/Kid Flash, Conner Kent/Superboy, M'gann M'orzz/Miss Martian and several others.
New episodes of Young Justice: Outsiders premiere Tuesdays throughout the summer on DC Universe.
