Young Justice: The Outsiders 'Have It Covered' in Mid-Season Teaser

The DC Universe's next generation of heroes is back in the teaser for the second half of Young Justice: Outsiders, the third season of the revived Young Justice cartoon.

After the first 13 episodes of the series debuted earlier this year, the trailer features members of Young Justice, the Outsiders and the Justice League working together to take on the forces of evil.

While the trailer is relatively light on plot, it features the brutal New Gods villain Granny Goodness, who was covertly running a metahuman-trafficking operation earlier in the season. She also appears to be torturing someone who could be the fan-favorite DC hero Big Barda, who has not yet made an appearance on the series.

Beast Boy, Wonder Woman, Wonder Girl, Static, Kid Flash, Ice, Superman, Geo-Force and Black Lightning all make blink-and-miss-it appearances in the short teaser too, working together to fight various threats.

After debuting on Cartoon Network in 2010, Young Justice ran for two critically-acclaimed seasons before being canceled. The fan-favorite series, which was developed by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman, was revived as an original program on the DC Universe streaming service.

The first 13 episodes from Young Justice: Outsiders are available to stream on DC Universe. The series will return for the second half of Season 3 on July 2, 2019. New episodes will continue to premiere on Tuesdays throughout the summer.
