The first half of Young Justice: Outsiders, the third season of the fan-favorite animated series Young Justice, premiered on DC Universe at the beginning of the year and is poised to launch its second half next week.
Ahead of the midseason premiere, DCU has released character design art of returning superhero Forager's new look this season. Voiced by Jason Spisak, the hero is a member of Nightwing's Outsiders, possessing superhuman strength and endurance as a sentient, human-sized insect from New Genesis. During the first half of the season, Forager had been targeted by the interstellar bounty hunter Lobo only to be saved by his friends.
From July 5-7 at the Austin Convention Center, the RTX Animation Festival will feature a DC Pop-Up and Superhero Experience with panels, screenings, giveaways, and exclusive merchandise from Hot Topic. Among the event is a panel for Young Justice: Outsiders' midseason premiere with producer Brandon Vietti and voice actress Whitney Moore on Saturday, July 6 from 4:30-6 pm.
Featuring the teenage and young adult superheroes of the DC Universe, Young Justice: Outsiders had the team continue to defend the world while navigating their own tricky relationships as an alliance of supervillains begin to enact their plans to conquer Earth.
The first 13 episodes from Young Justice: Outsiders are available to stream on DC Universe. The series will return for the second half of Season 3 on Tuesday, July 2, premiering three new episodes. New episodes will continue to premiere on Tuesdays throughout the summer.
