Outsiders, the rebranded third season of Young Justice, saw a new group of young superheroes rise after the galaxy was seized in a metahuman arms race, with teenage metahumans being kidnapped and turned into living weapons.

Young Justice originally ran on Cartoon Network for two seasons from 2010-2013 before its initial cancelation. In 2016, the animated series was revived to run on DC's then-upcoming premium streaming service DC Universe, premiering this past January with all-new episodes where the previous series had left off, following the teenage and young adult superheroes of the DCU.
