Among the many items in this morning's DC Universe announcement was an update on the expected release date of Young Justice: Outsiders. Instead of debuting alongside the live-action Titans this fall, the third season of Young Justice will now arrive in 2019.

The news comes courtesy of the official Warner Bros. Digital Networks press release for the DC Universe. Joining Young Justice: Outsiders on the digital subscription service in 2019 are the live-action Swamp Thing and Doom Patrol, along with a Harley Quinn animated series.

A new image of what is being billed as Young Justice's core team was also released this morning, showing Blue Beetle, Kid Flash/Impulse, new character Thirteen, Arrowette, Spoiler, Robin, Wonder Girl and Static Shock. The Young Justice: Outsiders panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego will feature a first look at the series and a Q & A with the cast and crew.

Executive produced by Sam Register, and produced by co-creators Vietti and Greg Weisman, Young Justice: Outsiders will find the teen heroes facing their greatest challenge as they fight meta-human trafficking “and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.”

Young Justice: Outsiders is planned for 26 episodes, debuting on DC Universe in 2019.
