Young Justice: Bendis Teases Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew

Young Justice's journey through the DC Multiverse will take the teen superheroes to Earth-26, home of the funny-animal stars of Captain Carrot And His Amazing Zoo Crew!.

Writer Brian Michael Bendis shared artwork from the Wonder Comics series while promoting an appearance on The Word Balloon podcast. The art features Captain Carrot, Yankee Poodle, Fastback and American Eagle alongside Young Justice outside their headquarters, the Zoo of Justice.

Bendis ended his Instagram post with a list of hashtags for his many comic projects from the past, present and future, with the last hashtag highlighting #captaincarrotandhisamazingzoocrew with six question marks, making it appear that he's as surprised as the reader at their introduction.

Created by Roy Thomas, Gerry Conway and Scott Shaw, Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew debuted in 1982's New Teen Titans Vol. 1 #16. The team originally comes from the funny-animal world of Earth-C, which later became Earth-26.

After spending some time in Gemworld, Young Justice is currently lost in DC's Multiverse, hoping to find a way back to Earth. We know the teen superheroes will journey to the Kingdom Come universe, along with a showdown against their evil look-alikes, who are most likely their version of the Justice League's Crime Syndicate.
