SPOILER ALERT: The following article contains spoilers for "Harley's Little Black Book" @6, on sale now.
Though it was implied in-story, it was never explicitly revealed that Harley Quinn hooked up with Lobo in the latest issue of "Harley's Little Black Book." However, in a recent interview about the issue, series writers Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti confirmed the yes, Harley and the Main Man did indeed get it on, if only between the panels illustrated by classic Lobo artist Simon Bisley.
"Yeah! Harley actually gets to do it," " Conner told Comicosity. " "Wait. Does she?"
"Oh yeah! Yeah. Of course," Palmiotti confirmed. "You know those little white strips between the panels? A lot of stuff happens in those little white strips we can’t talk about.
"It makes sense that their adventure would become intimate at some point," he added. "I gotta say, we were writing it and it’s probably the easiest Harley book we’ve written. We were just laughing out loud and saying, 'Oh no. We HAVE to go there.' We just kept saying that and waiting for DC [Comics] to say, 'You can’t do that.'"
Of course, while Harley actually did get to sleep with Lobo, he's not the first guest star in the series she's wanted to get it on with. In fact, the husband/wife writing team admit flat out in the interview that there's no hidden meaning in the series' title -- it really is a little black book of DC characters Harley wants to sleep with.
"Harley’s Little Black Book" #6, by Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti and Simon Bisley, is in stores now.
