Community received an eleventh-hour reprieve this afternoon as Yahoo announced it has ordered 13 episodes of the canceled NBC comedy.

Entertainment Weekly reports that creator Dan Harmon will return with the entire cast, whose deals were set to expire today. They'll be joined by executive producers Chris McKenna, Russ Krasnoff and Gary Foster.

"It's been so long since I've seen the young maiden," Harmon tweeted as the news broke, quoting the ballad "El Paso" that played so prominently in the finale of Breaking Bad. "My love is stronger than my fear of death." He followed it with the hashtag "SixSeasonsAndAMovie," the comedy's longtime mantra.

The announcement arrives only days after Hulu broke off negotiations with Community producers Sony Pictures Television, leaving devoted fans of the show with little hope.

“I am very pleased that Community will be returning for its predestined sixth season on Yahoo,” Harmon said in a statement. “I look forward to bringing our beloved NBC sitcom to a larger audience by moving it online. I vow to dominate our new competition. Rest easy, Big Bang Theory. Look out, Bang Bus!”
