FX has released yet another teaser trailer for the first season of its Y: The Last Man adaptation, which is slated to premiere exclusively on Hulu in September.

"It happened pretty fast," a voice explains as the teaser offers a brief look at the immediate effects of a mysterious plague that kills every mammal on Earth with a Y chromosome. "The world has changed," another voice says.

The trailer then turns its attention to Yorick Brown (Ben Schnetzer), the sole human survivor of the aforementioned plague and, by extension, the last cisgender male left on the planet. Yorick's unique position has forced him into hiding. One faction pursuing him appears to be the Daughters of the Amazon from the original comic book series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra. "They're gonna kill you," Yorick is warned. "So the new world can be born."

Based on the acclaimed DC/Vertigo comic of the same name written by Vaughan illustrated by Guerra, Y: The Last Man stars Schnetzer as Yorick, as well as Ashley Romans as Agent 355, Diana Bang as Dr. Allison Mann, Olivia Thirlby as Hero Brown and Diane Lane as President Jennifer Brown.
