As Game of Thrones moves towards its series finale, Microsoft has launched a sweepstakes to help promote the series. Xbox will give away Game of Thrones-themed Xbox One S All-Digital Edition consoles featuring two different designs.Xbox's official Facebook page has a giveaway post for a Night King-modeled Xbox One, while its official Twitter account has a giveaway post for a Targaryen-modeled console.
The sweepstakes is also a cross-promotion with the Microsoft's recently released disc-less console, which only plays digital games and possesses a 1 TB hard drive of storage space.
The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition consoles were released this week at a starting retail price of $250. The disc-less console launched well before Sony's own plans to release the PlayStation 5, Sony's first home video game console without a disc drive.
Airing Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO, Game of Thrones stars Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen, Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark, Maisie Williams as Arya Stark and Kit Harington as Jon Snow.
