The latest perk to come with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is a free month of Disney+.

Announced via the official Xbox blog, subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can now claim a free 30 day trial to streaming service Disney+. While this isn't the first time Microsoft has offered access to Disney+ through its game-focused subscription service, the reintroduction of the perk is likely to coincide with the launch of Loki, which starts streaming today, June 8.

The post makes it clear that the offer is only open to users who do not currently have a subscription to Disney+. If you made use of the perk the last time it was available but haven't continued paying for the service, you will be eligible. However, those with an active Disney+ account may not claim the free trial.

"Last holiday, we were excited to launch a collaboration with our friends at Disney+ to bring a 30-day trial to our Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members through the Perks program. The response from our community was fantastic; we know many of you claimed the Perk to stream all the great entertainment available on Disney+ with your friends and family. When the Perk ended in January, we heard you ask for more and today we’re excited to share the good news," reads the blog post.

Launched in 2017, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate allows subscribers to access a library of games for a monthly fee. Microsoft has placed a great emphasis on the service in its current generation of hardware, going so far as to include a dedicated "Game Pass" channel on the menu of the Xbox Series X|S. Disney+ is not currently running its own free trial service, so the only way for curious consumers to test the service is through Game Pass Ultimate.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is available on Xbox and PC and is priced at $14.99 a month.
