Xbox Game Pass continues to impress subscribers by offering incredible games and consistently growing its library with a mix of new releases and older titles. June has been a huge month for gaming between the return of E3 and and the many games releasing on a variety of systems.

While Game Pass started the month with just a handful of additions, Microsoft announced several games coming to the service following its E3 presentation, including more from Bethesda. It also announced that there will be at least one game releasing day one on Game Pass for the rest of this year. This includes highly-anticipated titles like Twelve Minutes, Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite.

The Wild at Heart

Coming to Cloud on June 1

After launching last month on console and PC, even more gamers will be able to access this whimsical adventure game though Game Pass' cloud gaming service. The Wild at Heart follows two children who travel to the Deep Woods, a fantastical forest filled with magical creatures. This charming indie game is full of secrets and puzzles to explore, all wrapped up in a gentle, inviting aesthetic.

For Honor

Coming to Console and Cloud on June 3

Fans of action-packed fighting games and fantasy settings should check out For Honor. The game allows players to select one of three factions, based on Knights, Vikings and Samurai, with a fourth faction based on ancient Chinese warriors being added in the Marching Fire expansion. Each faction has unique characters belonging to different classes like Vanguard and Assassin. By engaging in combat, players will also gain perks and grow stronger. There's also both a single-player campaign and multiplayer modes to enjoy.

Backbone

Coming to PC on June 8

This post-noir RPG follows Howard Lotor, a raccoon private investigator working in a dystopian version of Vancouver full of anthropomorphic animals. While Howard's life has mainly been full of small cases and lonely nights, he stumbles upon something that ultimately pits him against the darker power structures of the city. Backbone is a highly-anticipated indie title, and it will be available on Game Pass at launch.

Darkest Dungeon

Coming to Console, Cloud and PC on June 10

This popular, challenging roguelike is a turn-based RPG with a gothic aesthetic. Darkest Dungeon is about more than just fighting monsters -- it also tells a story about the toll adventuring takes on a hero. In addition to controlling a roster of flawed heroes, players need to keep an eye on their stress level. Sustained high-stress will cause a character to gain an affliction, which can be positive of negative. Fans of the popular roguelike genre who haven't played Darkest Dungeon yet should give it a try on Game Pass.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Coming to Console, Cloud and PC on June 13

With Like a Dragon's addition to Game Pass, gamers can now access all eight main-series Yakuza titles just by subscribing to the service. This title serves as a reboot of sorts for the series, featuring a new protagonist in Ichiban Kasuga and a new JRPG gameplay style that suits his worldview and personality. While those who miss the previous games' beat 'em up gameplay can find that in the Judgment spinoff series, Like a Dragon received plenty of praise from critics and fans alike, who enjoyed the game's humor, new mechanics and innovations.

Arx Fatalis

Coming to PC on June 13

Arkane Studios' innovative first game is finally joining Game Pass, allowing more fans to experience an overlooked game that was ahead of its time. This first-person fantasy RPG is incredibly detailed and boasts a unique magic system based on combining runes, as well as an economics system that's surprisingly deep for a game that released in 2002. Whether you've played it before or have enjoyed the studio's better-known works like Dishonored and Prey, Arx Fatalis is worth checking out.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider

The standalone expansion to Dishonored 2 is finally joining other games in the series on Game Pass. Death of the Outsider takes place after the events of the previous title and follows Billie Lurk, a former assassin who teams up with her mentor to kill a mysterious supernatural being. As she explores the dark underbelly of Karnaca, Billie will learn the secrets of the god-like Outsider, providing an excellent conclusion to the series' Kaldwin arc.

DOOM (2016)

Many were disappointed when 2016's DOOM reboot wasn't included last time Bethesda released several of its titles on Game Pass, but the game has finally joined other major entries in its series. DOOM (2016) reinvigorated the first-person shooter genre -- not to mention its own franchise -- with its fast, fluid combat and, of course, massive guns and demons to shoot at as the iconic Doom Slayer. Combining innovation with series staples, DOOM is a must-play for all FPS fans.

Several Fallout Games

Brotherhood of Steel Fallout 3

Coming to various platforms on June 13

Five classic Fallout games are joining recent titles like Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 on Game Pass. Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics are coming to PC, while Fallout 3 and New Vegas will be available on Console, Cloud and PC. These are some of the best entries in a beloved franchise known for its tumultuous history, especially in regards to more recent games, and now is a great time for fans to revisit these older titles.

Rage

Coming to Console and Cloud on June 13

Another first-person shooter from id Software, Rage is set in a post-apocalyptic world that was thrown into turmoil following an asteroid hitting the earth. The game follows Nicholas Raine, a soldier who awakens following a century-long hibernation as a wanted man. Nicholas must survive in a Mad Max-like world fighting bandits, mutants and an oppressive government as he goes.

The Evil Within 2

Coming to Console, Cloud and PC on June 13

Following the first game in the series' Game Pass release in March, The Evil Within 2 is joining the service too. The game is considered a step up from its predecessor for its story and gameplay improvements, and it provides a fitting conclusion to protagonist Sebastian Castellanos' story while leaving enough unanswered questions to make fans hope for a sequel.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Coming to Console, Cloud and PC on June 13

Another Bethesda game that was noticeably absent in March despite other games in its series coming to Game Pass, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is finally available to subscribers. Set in an alternate history where the Axis powers won World War II, players control B.J. Blazkowicz as he leads the second American Revolution to resist Nazi control.

Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance

Coming to Console, Cloud and PC on June 22

This action-RPG set in the Forgotten Realms of Dungeons & Dragons will be available day one on Game Pass when it launches this month. A spiritual successor the the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance games, the new title allows players to control four classic characters including the famous drow Ranger Drizzt Do'Urden as the party searches for a powerful artifact known as The Crystal Shard, fighting classic D&D monsters along the way.

Worms Rumble

Coming to Console, Cloud and PC on June 23

Worms Rumble is a multiplayer action-spinoff of the Worms franchise, and the first game in the series to feature real-time combat. In it, players control anthropomorphic worms who are equipped with quirky weapons like Sheep Launchers and Sentry Turrets. The game features a variety of modes like Death Match, Last Worm Standing and Last Squad Standing, so there are plenty of ways to enjoy the fun with friends.

Iron Harvest

Coming to PC on June 24

This real-time strategy game is coming to Game Pass after its PC launch last September. Iron Harvest is set in 1920+, an alternate history universe created by Polish artist Jakub Różalski, and it allows players to control dieselpunk mechs as they take to the battlefield in single and multiplayer fights. The game's world is one where technological progress and tradition are at odds with one another, and Europe (still recovering from World War I) is under threat once again.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered

Coming to Console and PC on June 24

Last year's remaster of the 2010 game allows players to engaging in high-speed chases as law-breakers and law enforcement alike. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is set in the fictional Seacrest County, an open-world based on parts of Southern California, Arizona and Colorado. Hot Pursuit includes single and multiplayer modes, as well as Autolog, which essentially acts as a social platform for the game. The remaster also includes all of the original's DLC, which adds plenty of new challenges, achievements and more for players to enjoy.

Prodeus

Game Preview coming to PC on June 24

This indie FPS launched in early access on Steam last November, and now, Game Pass subscribers will be able to check it out too. Prodeus is a retro-inspired title that takes modern techniques and applies them to tried-and-true gameplay elements and early-3D aesthetics. It features a mix of complex levels and fast-paced gunplay that will keep players engaged while they pursue their simple goal: destroying the mysterious Prodeus and anything that gets in the way.

Leaving Soon

Of course, some games leave Game Pass each month. On June 15, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (Console), Night Call (Cloud, Console, and PC), West of Dead (Cloud, Console, and PC), Wizard of Legend (Cloud, Console, and PC) and Observation (Cloud, Console, and PC) will exit.

Then, Battle Chasers: Nightwar (Console, Cloud and PC), Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite (Console, Cloud and PC), Mistover (PC), Monster Hunter World (Console and Cloud), Out of the Park Baseball 21 (PC), Outer Wilds (Console and Cloud), Soulcalibur VI (Console) and The Messenger (Console, Cloud and PC) will leave on June 30. You still have some time to try these games out before they go, and you'll get a 20 percent membership discount (10 percent for EA digital purchases) if you decide to purchase them while they're still part of Game Pass.
