The months between major releasing are perfect for revisiting old favorites, trying out a game you missed out or discovering an underrated gem. February's new Game Pass offerings will provide a variety of single and multiplayer experiences, whether you're playing on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC or Android.

Ghost of a Tale

Coming to PC on February 4

An indie action-RPG originally released in 2018, Ghost of a Tale follows a mouse and minstrel named Tilo who lives in a Medieval world populated by anthropomorphic animals. As Tilo explores the Dwindling Heights on his journey to find Merra, his true love, he'll need to use stealth and disguises to deal with confrontations with enemies who are twice his size. The game is so gorgeous to look at and tells such a compelling story that players will be shocked to learn that it was developed primarily by one person with a tiny team supporting him.

Project Winter

Coming to Console, PC and Android on February 4

If you're looking for a multiplayer game about survival, social deception and backstabbing your friends, give Project Winter a try. Similar to the hugely popular Among Us, this game is about braving the harsh wilderness with your group of survivors while knowing there are traitors within the group attempting to sabotage your escape. Project Winter combines a great survival game about resource gathering and management with one of the most popular multiplayer premise out there right now.

The Falconeer

Coming to Console, PC and Android on February 4

An indie title that launched alongside the Series X|S, The Falconeer is an open-world game about soaring through the skies as a powerful Warbird. There are plenty of upgrades you can earn through winning fast-paced air battles and uncovering secrets under the sea. The Great Ursee is a mysterious world full of factions and clans you can join or oppose, and there's plenty of action and lore to enjoy in this impressive game.

Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age

Coming to Console and PC on February 11

Game Pass continues to bring past entries in the legendary JRPG series to subscribers with Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age, the 2017 remaster of the previously Japan-only expanded version of FFXII. The game brings players to the warring world of Ivalice, where the Archadian Empire has conquered Dalmasca, a small kingdom that is left in ruin. Princess Ashe, the only heir to the throne, and Vaan, a young man whose family was killed in the war, must team up to liberate their homeland. Zodiac Age features the Zodiac Job System, as well as visual and audio improvements that bring the original 2006 game in line with contemporary gaming experiences.

Jurassic World Evolution

Fans of the Jurassic World franchise who have always wondered if they could do a better job at bioengineering dinosaurs and running a park than in the films should play Jurassic World Evolution, a game that allows you to do just that. The game allows you to modify the genes of 40 kinds of dinosaurs, who react to their environment. Then, you'll have to manage your park, keeping Science, Entertainment and Security interests in mind. Evolution also features actors Jeff Goldblum, Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong reprising their roles from the films.

Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones

Coming to Console and Android on February 11

Stealth Inc. 2 is puzzle platformer that originally released for the Wii U and took advantage of its GamePad, but has since come to other platforms. The game allows players to control various clones as they explore and try to escape the facility where they were born. There are over 60 challenging levels linked together by a Metroidvania-style overworld full of threats designed to kill you. However, as a clone, death isn't permanent; in fact, it can be a tool to help you better navigate the world next time.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood

Coming to Android on February 11

The latest entry in Bethesda's first-person shooter franchise about fighting Nazis puts players in the shoes of usual series protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz's twin daughters 19 years after the events of Wolfenstein II. In Youngblood, Jessie and Zofia (who grew up training to defend themselves) must search for their missing father, traveling to Nazi-occupied France to find him. While this spin-ff received mixed reviews upon launch, it continues the MachineGames series reboot and sets the stage for what could come next.

Code Vein

Coming to PC on February 18

This action-RPG from Bandai Namco tells a story set in the near future. In Code Vein, players must team up with either an AI teammate or a friend to explore a world that has been destroyed by a disaster. As you work your way to the ends of hell, you'll combine your strength and take on enemies while also unlocking the secrets of your past.

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition

The definitive way to play this Obsidian-made RPG, Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire -- Ultimate Edition features the major updates and expansion the game has received. The game focuses on seafaring, and gives players infinite possibilities and plenty of freedom in regards to character customization, exploration and choice, with those decisions changing the game at every turn.

Wreckfest

Coming to Console, PC and Android on February 18

Wreckfest is a game for fans of demolition derbies and destructive gameplay that combines realistic physics with rule-breaking. This is a full-contact racing game that encourages players to cause damage and have some over-the-top fun. It also features chaotic challenge modes that include less traditional vehicle options like lawnmowers and school buses.

Killer Queen Black

Coming to Console and Android on February 23

Originally designed as a team-based game that became an indie arcade hit, Killer Queen Black finally brought the game to PC, Mac and Nintendo Switch in 2019. Now, the game is finally launching on Xbox, and it will be available on Game Pass from day one. Killer Queen Black is a real-time strategy platform game where two teams, led by a queen, face off and try to meet one of three victory conditions. It allows players to either play by themselves, or team up with up to three additional friends on one team.

Dirt 5

Coming to Console, PC and Android on February 25

Codemasters' latest racing game released last year just days before the new consoles launched. Dirt 5 provides a more traditional arcade racing experience than something like Wreckfest, feature off-road racing on various terrain, a large roster of cars to choose from and modes ranging from Career to online multiplayer. There's plenty here from players to explore, from driving on the frozen East River in New York City to watching the beautiful Northern Lights while racing through Norway.

Elite Dangerous

Coming to Console on February 25

This open-world MMO allows players to explore an accurate recreation of outer space in their own starship. Though the game has been out since 2014, Elite Dangerous is still popular and receiving updates to this day. There's plenty to do, from fighting AI enemies and other players to gathering resources or simply traveling through the Milky Way Galaxy.

Superhot: Mind Control Delete

Coming to PC on February 25

Finally, the latest game in this unique and fascinating first-person shooter series is coming to Game Pass for PC. Superhot: Mind Control Delete makes time a major element of the game, as time only moves when the player does. This is an innovative concept that forces players to strategize, but gives them time to do it. This game also goes more into the story and lore of Superhot, making it great for fans of the series who want to know more.

Leaving Soon

As with every month, there are some games leaving Game Pass in February. The first to go will be De Blob (Console),

Ninja Gaiden II (Console) and World of Horror (PC) on February 15. Then, on the following day, EA Play's Shadows of the Damned (Console) will also depart.

Dirt 4 is leaving on February 24, a day before it is replaced by Dirt 5. Finally, on February 28, Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight (Console and PC), Mother Russia Bleeds (PC), Oxenfree (Console and PC), The Jackbox Party Pack 4 (Console) and Vambrace: Cold Soul (Console and PC) will leave as well. You still have some time to try these games out before they go, and you'll get a 20 percent membership discount (10 percent for EA digital purchases) if you decide to purchase them while they're still part of Game Pass.
