Some of the creators involved in Marvel's upcoming X of Swords crossover revealed which characters they feel shine in the pending X-Men event during Comic-Con@Home's "Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing" virtual panel Friday. X-Men editor Jordan D. White kicked off the discussion asking Marauders writer Gerry Duggan and Excalibur writer Tini Howard which characters had "the best bit so far in the entire story?"

"I'm very excited for this story because of Storm's part in it," Duggan responded. "There's a super, super cool story that we've been dying to tell. When you see Russell Dauterman and Matt Wilson's cover for Marauders, you'll understand why I'm so excited about this story for Storm."

Said cover for Marauders #14 was then shown, featuring Storm dancing with none other than Death, one of Apocalypse's First Horseman, and also one of the storyline's villains.

"We're all very excited for the story that has developed for young Douglas Ramsey," Howard responded. "The room has lit up every time we start talking about Doug's story in X of Swords. It can be the earliest, sleepiest, most worn-out video call and the second we start talking about Doug's story, everyone's like, 'And this happens?!' Cypher fans are going to have a great time."

White chimed in, adding, "If I had to pick, I would probably say I'm most excited about something with Captain Britain."

The event officially begins in X of Swords: Creation #1 by Jonathan Hickman and Pepe Larraz, on sale September 23.
