With the Marvel Universe rocked by the recent return of Cable -- well, in the form of Kid Cable -- from the afterlife, the publisher's April 2019 solicitations has now revealed his deadly clone, Stryfe, will be returning to action as well.

One of the X-Men's biggest villains will re-enter the fray in X-Force #6 by writer Ed Brisson and artist Damian Couceiro, as Marvel continues to paint Kid Cable's mission as he works with his dad, Scott Summers (Cyclops), who also came back from the dead at the end of Extermination. So far, this book has revealed that Kid Cable and Cyclops have been working to track weapons of mass destruction from the future, which are being sold by a mysterious entity to mutant-hating nations in the present-day.

X-Force is also investigating the arms race, seeking to avenge the older Cable's death at the hands of his younger self in the process. As for Stryfe, one of his final schemes saw him escaping the wrath of Hope Summers in the Uncanny X-Force and Cable and X-Force crossover, but his return may signal that he is the seller that's causing all this chaos in the past.
