With the epic conclusion of X of Swords finding the mutants of Krakoa victorious, the island nation finally has the opportunity to look forward to a bright and shining future. This future has taken the form of the mutant's creation of a space program with Abigail Brand working in collaboration with Krakoa to restart SWORD. Here is a list of several powerful mutants joining her aboard the newly redesigned space station, launching mutantkind into a new era of greatness.

Amelia Voght

Amelia Voght first came into the X-Men's world before the team was even properly formed. As a nurse in India, she cared for Charles Xavier when his legs were first injured, and the two grew close. Once they'd returned to the United States together, the two revealed their mutant statuses to one another and had a falling out over their differing opinions regarding human-mutant relations. When Xavier first brought Cyclops to the mansion, Amelia told him that his plans would doom their kind and went off on her own, eventually joining the Acolytes before finally settling on Krakoa. Now she works alongside the rest of the teleportation team, helping the crew get wherever they need to be.

Another powerful teleporter, Clarice Ferguson, aka Blink first appeared as a captive of the Phalanx. At the time she had little control over her powers, and anything she teleported would arrive at its destination in shreds, which came in handy as an offensive option. Though she defeated the Phalanx called Harvest, it was believed that she had lost her life to her own powers in doing so, only to reappear years later alongside Selene, who convinced Blink that the X-Men were her enemies. Once free from Selene's control, Blink would continue playing the hero until being brought back into the fold by Cyclops and Wolverine.

Frenzy

Joanna Cargill grew up in an abusive home, and when her powers finally revealed themselves it was by accidentally murdering her father with a punch through his chest. After running away from home, and any potential consequences, she became the mercenary known as Frenzy, frequently butting heads with Gambit, then joining Apocalypse as a member of his Alliance of Evil. Most of Frenzy's time has been spent as a villain, but she jumped at the chance to become a citizen of Krakoa and get a fresh start. As part of S.W.O.R.D. she is putting her previous experience as a diplomat to good use as the team's official ambassador.

Lila Cheney

Another member of the teleport team, Lila Cheney is a talented musician known on Earth and among the stars thanks to her ability to teleport across and beyond the reaches of the galaxy. This particular power leaves her unable to teleport short distances, but that's never been much of an issue for the young mutant. Most notably, Lila formed a friendship with Carol Danvers when she needed someone's help escaping her arranged, alien marriage and found herself aboard Carol's ship by accident.

Random

A member of the Peak's security team, Marshall Evan Stone III needed help managing his fluid, protoplasmic form when his X-Gene manifested itself, and was aided by Dark Beast in exchange for joining X-Factor. Random has worked as a bounty hunter, and put those skills to good use as part of Magneto's mutant army during the elder mutant's time ruling Genosha alongside Charles Xavier. Aside from his shape-changing abilities, Random can also counteract other mutants powers, though this seems to happen, well, randomly.

Risque

Gloria Munoz left home as a teenager after her parents split up, spending time soaking up the sun in Miami until her mutant powers surfaced. A fast and agile fighter able implode inorganic materials, Risque began working for the Deviant known as Sledge, which led her into a rocky relationship with Warpath and battles both against and alongside X-Force. When Xavier founded X-Corporation, Risque joined the organization, dying at the hands of the U-Men when she uncovered their organ harvesting plot. Once resurrected on Krakoa, Risque joined the security team aboard the Peak alongside Random and Cable.

Vanisher

One of the X-Men's oldest villains, the mutant known as the Vanisher was introduced all the way back in 1963's X-Men #2 wherein he used his teleportation abilities to carry out a series of high stakes heists. Vanisher has most often acted in nefarious roles, but the odd circumstance has also found him fighting alongside the likes of X-Force, even if it wasn't necessarily of his own accord. Even with his prior streak of evil, Vanisher has made a place for himself among friends as part of S.W.O.R.D.'s teleportation team.

Wiz-Kid

Takeshi Matsuya, a technopathic genius, is in charge of technology and engineering for S.W.O.R.D., working to integrate the Krakoan plant-based tech with the Peak's own digital and mechanical infrastructure. His work in the past has made him invaluable to friend and foe alike, and his time with the Avengers Academy has given him the field experience necessary to keep his head held high while also keeping the thousand-ton space station operating at peak efficiency.
