Mister Sinister rocks the X-Men's world in this week's releases from Marvel Comics.
Launching after Avengers Assemble and Dark Web, Marvel's third big event planned between 2022 and 2023 kicks off on Wednesday: Sins of Sinister. Starting with a one-shot by writer Kieron Gillen and artist Lucas Werneck, the X-Men event will take place at three different points across 1,000 years in the Marvel Universe, each point explored by the three-issue miniseries Immoral X-Men, Nightcrawlers and Storm & the Brotherhood of Mutants. The event is set to wrap with the one-shot Sins of Sinister: Dominion in April 2023, but X-Men fans will have another event in store for them later this year: Fall of X.
There are other issues on sale this week to keep X-Men fans preoccupied, however. Marvel's five-part Murderworld saga continues in Murderworld: Wolverine #1, and the X-Terminators miniseries ends with its fifth and final issue. Sabretooth & the Exiles is releasing its third issue but still has two more to go, as does Murderworld, including one focused on Moon Knight and its finale.
Meanwhile, the miniseries All-Out Avengers and Midnight Suns are ending. The former paves the way for Avengers Beyond out in March, while the latter gives the spotlight to a younger Agatha Harkness, similar to her Marvel Cinematic Universe counterpart played by actor Kathryn Hahn. The final Amazing Spider-Man tie-in for Marvel's Dark Web event is out as well, as is the penultimate issue of Doctor Strange: Fall Sunrise.
