His response: "It took only a single viewing for 'All Star Superman' to become one of my all-time favourite superhero movies. Airs: January 29th, 20112010While it didn't make the list, "2010: The Year We Make Contact" is a somewhat absurd sci-fi movie. Well, absurd because of the dates involved. As a direct sequel to "2001: a space odyssey," it supposes a 2010 in which manned missions to Jupiter are feasible, the Soviet Union still in existence, and dolphins as household pets. It also suggested certain 80s hairstyles surviving. It is a an interesting look at how easy it is for science fiction to get it wrong. Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya, bracing for the future threat of "3001: Final Odyssey."
