Disney+ has launched its "Summer Movie Nights," which will see a bevy of movies coming to the streaming service over the next few months. Chief among them are several of the X-Men films, as well as 2005's Fantastic Four.

The movies will start streaming on certain dates throughout the summer. X-Men: Days of Future Past starts streaming on July 10; X-Men: Apocalypse arrives on July 17; the first X-Men film on August 7; Fantastic Four on August 28th, and finally, The Wolverine on September 4.

Other Disney+ offerings will include the debut of Lin-Manuel Miranda's popular musical Hamilton on July 3, as well as Beauty and the Beast (2017), The Mighty Ducks, The Greatest Showman, Incredibles 2, and Ant-Man and the Wasp.

The first X-Men film also celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. First released in 2000, it was one of the first comic book films that gave rise to the current popularity of the superhero movie genre, alongside Sam Raimi's Spider-Man and the first Blade film. Days of Future Past brought together the original franchise cast, along with the cast from X-Men: First ClassThe Wolverine was helmed by James Mangold, who would later return for Hugh Jackman's swan song as Wolverine in Logan.

The original theatrical version of Fantastic Four was released on July 8, 2005. Directed by Tim Story, it starred Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans, Michael Chiklis, Julian McMahon, and Kerry Washington. The film received a sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, in 2007.
