It was confirmed in January that fan-favorite mutant Dazzler will finally make her live-action debut in Fox's X-Men: Dark Phoenix, albeit in a small role. Now it appears that The Orville actress Halston Sage may have been cast in the part.

Omega Underground caught a since-deleted photo posted by one of the film's stuntmen in which head shots of confirmed cast members, as well as Sage, can be seen in the background. In addition, Sage was spotted at a Hans Zimmer concert in Montreal with Dark Phoenix cast members. Fox has yet to make an announcement.

Introduced in 1980 in The Uncanny X-Men #130, Dazzler is a mutant who can convert sound vibrations into light and energy beams, an ability she utilized in her career as a singer.
