Thanks to the massive scope of the Marvel multiverse, there are numerous potential offspring of various couplings that never came to be in the core-timeline. This especially extends to romances that did occur on Earth-616 and that did not go the distance.

In one alternate reality, Bishop of the X-Men's romance with Deathbird resulted in the birth of a daughter who went on to become an important galactic figure. And current circumstances in the Marvel Universe might have set the stage for her in the world of Earth-616.

X-Men Bishop Deathbird Aliyah 1

In the late 1990s, Bishop and some of his X-Men found themselves transported into Shi'Ar space. Recruited by the alien empire to help them confront the techno-organic Phalanx, Bishop became an unlikely ally to Deathbird. The former villain found a mutual respect on the battlefield with Bishop and an attraction blossomed between the pair. When Bishop was separated from his teammates for a time and left to explore space with her, the two began a romance for a time. But Deathbird eventually betrayed Bishop to a group of Skrulls working with Apocalypse, putting an end to their romance as she was briefly transformed into his new Horseman of War.

But in some other realities across the multiverse, their romance carried on -- and even resulted in a child. This was the case on Earth-41001, the primary setting of the X-Men: The End trilogy by legendary X-Men creator Chris Claremont and artist Sean Chen. Taking place roughly two decades into a future where mutants have become increasingly accepted by the public, Bishop was completely unaware that his romance with Deathbird had ended in her pregnant. The Shi'Ar royal ended up giving birth to Aliyah, a daughter who retained Shi'Ar attributes but bore a striking resemblance to her father. Deathbird raised her for a time in Shi'Ar space, but Empress Lilandra -- having been made unstable by the machinations of Cassandra Nova -- turned against the galaxy. Deathbird staged a revolt against her sister but was captured and made into a host for the Brood -- but she luckily sent Aliyah to safety.

X-Men Bishop Deathbird Aliyah 3

Growing up on a ship largely alone, Aliyah spent her formative years learning the history of the X-Men and her father's place among them. She'd become entangled in their adventures when Lilandra's forces turned their attention towards the mutants. This resulted in Aliyah becoming a crucial player in the overarching conflict. For example, she rescued the reborn Jean Grey and set the stage for the X-Men to fight back against the Shi'Ar assault. Aliyah got the chance to meet her father and work alongside him in the battle against the corrupted Lilandra. Both were among the small handful of survivors to escape the conflict. As the last standing person with royal Shi'Ar blood, she ended the series as the newly ascended Empress of the Shi'Ar.

Bishop and Deathbird's romance collapsing meant it's unlikely that Aliyah would be born in the core-Marvel Universe. But the current circumstances of the Marvel Universe have set the stage for a reunion between the pair. Bishop is currently in space, confronting the Shi'Ar Empire alongside the rest of the Marauders. Deathbird has become a more heroic protector of her niece Xandra -- and was forcibly removed from her post as a means of isolating Xandra. Their shared motivation to protect Xandra (or avenge her, if she isn't properly revived) could give Bishop and Deathbird the ideal chance to settle any lingering differences -- and potentially set the stage for a resurgence of their romance and the conception of Aliyah.
