Lana Condor briefly made a brief appearance as the popular X-Men character Jubilee in 2016's X-Men: ApocalypseNow, the actor has revealed she'd like to re-enter the superhero genre as a "female Spider-Man" for Sony's Spider-Verse cinematic universe.

Condor shared her desire to portray a female Spider-Man during an interview with CinePop, and added that she loves action and doing stunt work.

There are several female characters with Spider-Man-like powers in the Marvel Universe from which Condor could choose, including Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen and more. None of the female spider heroes have appeared in a live-action film, though Spider-Gwen was recently voiced by Hailee Steinfeld in 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. 

Lana Condor is known for her role as Lara Jean Covey in the popular 2018 Netflix romance film, To All the Boys I've Loved Before. She also starred in the film's sequel, To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, and will reprise her role in the third installment, To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean.

Condor was the third actor to appear as Jubilation "Jubilee" Lee in the X-Men film franchise. Katrina Florece portrayed the character in 2000's X-Men and Kea Wong played Jubilee in both 2003's X2 and 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand.
