You may not have heard -- there's gonna be a sequel to those successful "X-Men" movies. Really! It comes out this week too, uh huh. Well, if you don't know much about it, you can check out interviews with actors from the movie like Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart, Kelsey Grammer and director Brett Ratner, all courtesy of Superhero Hype. The XVerse has interviews with actress Rebecca Romijn, a group interview with Anna Paquin, Shawn Ashmore, Ben Foster and Ellen Page as well as FX supervisor John Bruno, all live from Cannes. Speaking of group interviews, the Associated Press (courtesy of Yahoo! News) sat down with Famke Janssen, Halle Berry, Rebecca Romijn and Anna Paquin at Cannes. Finally, an "Osama bin Laden-like" shot of Magneto making a videotaped threat was cut from the film and re-imagined by director Ratner. Whew.
Speaking of small, low-budget independent films, the Superman Homepage has three high resolution photos of actor Brandon Routh hiding behind his spectacles and stills from the new Tv spots and international trailers. They also have new international posters showing different angles on the Man of Steel.
SLOW NEWS DAY
Seriously? Two movies? Wow. Well, here's where you get in on the action. Did you see a link we didn't catch? Have you snuck into a closed movie set, and have inside data? Maybe your cousin is dating somebody who knows something, and they had to tell you? Whatever it is, we wanna know it all -- fire off an email and let us know whether you want your name used or your contributions to geekdom to go down anonymously. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is novelist/karaoke host/all-around lunatic Hannibal Tabu saying thanks for your time and indulgence, and [tagline sent back to development hell until something hipper can be dreamed up].
