WWE superstar Becky Lynch has been known by several nicknames during her time with the organization, such as "Becky Balboa," "The Irish Lass-Kicker" and, most recently "The Man." However, based on her new ring gear, she may soon have to add "Phoenix" to that list.Despite currently being both injured and suspended, Lynch (real name Rebecca Quin) turned up at WWE's 2019 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view using a pair of crutches to get around and sporting a black-and-yellow outfit that undeniably evokes memories of Marvel's X-Men. More specifically, the Frank Quitely-designed suit worn by Jean Grey during writer Grant Morrison's run on New X-Men in the early 2000s.Combine this new look with Lynch's trademark red hair, and she'd have a pretty convincing case for being the real-life embodiment of the iconic mutant.RELATED: WWE Superstars Suit Up in Miles Morales & Dark Phoenix Ring Gear

After making her way to the ring, the Irish-born wrestler proceeded to repeatedly strike rival Charlotte Flair with one of her crutches to thunderous applause. She then turned her attention to WWE Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey, attacking the former UFC star in a similar way.

The massively-popular Lynch is currently embroiled in a storyline that involves her chasing the WWE Raw Women's Championship. She won the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble match last month, which guaranteed her a title shot against Rousey at this year's WrestleMania. However, she was then suspended and replaced in the match by Flair. That said, this run-in seems to confirm speculation that WWE is building towards an ultimate triple-threat match at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

It just goes to show that even if you don't have telepathic powers to take on your adversaries, a big stick works just as well.
