After a 30-year career in WWE, fan-favorite Superstar The Undertaker has finally retired from the ring following Survivor Series. William Alvin Moody, aka Paul Bearer, passed away in 2013 after a memorable career appearing as The Undertaker's manager, summoning him to fight with his urn. The character and The Undertaker had a tumultuous history, marked by constant betrayals as part of the scripted storyline.

Undertaker's retirement comes 30 years to the day after his debut at 1990's Survivor Series, when Mark Calaway first introduced his ghastly alter ego. The wrestler became a seven-time World Champion and was one of the most iconic characters in the history of WWE. After a documentary miniseries The Last Ride on WWE Network, Undertaker indicated that he was retiring, with his final bout occurring with AJ Styles during WrestleMania 36 in a Boneyard Match.
