Mark Calaway signed with WWE in 1990 and has thrilled wrestling fans for three decades as his iconic alter ego The Undertaker. However, as evidenced by the trailer for WWE's docuseries Undertaker: The Last Ride, those three decades have taken a toll on the Deadman.
The trailer examines the physical and emotional strain that wrestling well into his 50s has taken on The Undertaker, specifically over the last several years. "You start to hear things, people talking 'Oh, he's too old. He shouldn't do this, he shouldn't do that,'" he said. "That's up for me to decide."
Reigning over WrestleMania with an unprecedented 21-match winning streak, The Undertaker is one of the most enduring Superstars in WWE history, as well as the longest-serving wrestler with the organization. However, while that streak was broken at WrestleMania XXX by Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker had an especially memorable return at WrestleMania 36, defeating AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match heralded by many as the highlight of the marquee event.
Undertaker: The Last Ride premieres Sunday, May 10 on WWE Network.
