BOOM! Studios will publish WWE: The New Day, a new graphic novel starring Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods set for release in 2020.
The publisher announced the title during its BOOM! Studios: Discover Yours panel at Comic Con International, which included a surprise appearance from Kingston. Per the press release, the graphic novel will follow "the group from their earliest days at WWE through their meteoric rise as three of the most beloved WWE Superstars!" The graphic novel will feature cover art by Daniel Bayliss (Jim Henson’s The Labyrinth), which you can see below.
"There are few modern WWE Superstars with a greater legacy than The New Day - and as they've shown this year, there's no ceiling to what Kofi, Xavier and Big E can accomplish," said editor Chris Rosa. "WWE: The New Day is the first time fans will get an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at their journey to the top of the proverbial mountain and we can't wait to share more news with fans soon!”
BOOM! Studios has previously published several other WWE books, including WWE: Undertaker and WWE: NXT Takeover.
As of this writing, the creative team for WWE: The New Day has not yet been announced. The book will be available in 2020.
