WWE’s Total Divas recently aired its Season 9 finale, leaving faithful viewers to ponder what’s next for the celebrated mixed martial artist and former WWE Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.

"Right now, I think my family needs my undivided attention," Rousey told People. "I’m happy to give them that. But I’m trying to figure out a way or a system or somehow that I could give both my family and WWE the best of me and not be half ass in both." She would go on to say she's in "no rush" to return to the squared circle.

Rousey’s WWE career began with a meteoric rise to championship fame, not unlike her storied MMA career. It started with an in-ring guest segment at WrestleMania 31, where she displayed her grappling skills by disposing of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. She would then make a surprise debut at the 2018 Royal Rumble marked with confirmation that she had signed with the company.

Rousey's first match after that was at WrestleMania 34 and soon after that, she won the WWE Women’s Championship. Following a 232-day title run, the longest Women’s Championship title reign at its time, Rousey’s in-ring run with WWE would come to a close with her first loss by pinfall.

With Triple H himself stating that Rousey will return to WWE in the future, it may only be a matter of time before she makes her comeback and fans get to see which Four Horsewomen faction (hers or the one comprised of  Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Bayley) reigns supreme. In the meantime, it may be best to wish Rousey the best of luck in her future endeavors.
