Drew McIntyre might not be feuding with the entire roster of WWE's Monday Night Raw, but one week into his championship run, that's certainly what it's starting to feel like.

McIntyre's take-on-all-comers reign as champion already feels like a breath of fresh air in a men's division that saw its two top-card titles held hostage by seldom-seen part-timers for months at a time.

He took on his first championship defense just 20 minutes after taking the title off Brock Lesnar -- in kayfabe, at least. At Raw after 'Mania, McIntyre revealed that he was challenged for the title by WWE legend Big Show mere minutes after his championship match with Lesnar. Despite having such little time to recover from the three F-5's he suffered at Lesnar's hands, McIntyre accepted the match to show that he intended to be a fighting champion who would take on any challenger at any time. After putting away Big Show with a well-timed Claymore kick, McIntyre notched both his first WWE Heavyweight Championship and first successful title defense, all within the course of a single (storyline) hour.

The same night that his championship bout with Lesnar aired, McIntyre called out heavyweight boxing champ -- and former Braun Strowman opponent -- Tyson Fury in an interview. Fury quickly took to Twitter to let McIntyre know he'd be happy to schedule a match, and after McIntyre referenced Fury in a promo on the April 13 edition of Raw, it seems likely that a McIntyre Vs. Fury match could be in the planning for a future PPV.

If Fury wants a piece of McIntyre though, he'll have to wait in line, as the main storyline in that April 13 episode of Raw centered on a new feud between McIntyre and Andrade. Andrade, the current United States champion, came out to challenge McIntyre to a champion vs. champion match to main event the evening's show. Andrade was joined as always by his manager Zelina Vega, as well as her other "associates" Angel Garza and recent NXT call-up Austin Theory, and the event seemed to formalize the group as a new heel stable.

The burgeoning feud between McIntyre and Andrade capitalized on their shared history in NXT. In 2017, Andrade defeated McIntyre for the NXT Championship, leaving him with a legitimate biceps injury that kept McIntyre on the shelf for months. McIntyre avenged that loss on Raw, hitting Andrade with a Claymore for the win, only to be attacked by Seth Rollins -- with an assist from Angel Garca -- to close out the show.

So, to recap: within the space of a week, McIntyre has already begun and ended one feud with Big Show, and started three more with Tyson Fury, Andrade, and Seth Rollins. By feuding with Andrade, he's also taking on Angel Garza, Austin Theory, and Zelina Vega, and his feud with Seth Rollins may quickly rope in Buddy Murphy and AOP, if and when they can return from injury. It's unclear at this point if Andrade and Seth Rollins will join forces to take on McIntyre, or if the Sexy Scotsman will take on both feuds simultaneously. Either way, at the rate he's going, it's almost easier to try to keep track of who McIntyre isn't feuding with than to chart all of his various feuds at once.

McIntyre's busy schedule as WWE champion is a huge victory for everyone involved -- the company, the fans, and McIntyre himself. After months of watching the big title belts essentially lay dormant in the hands of absent champions, it only took McIntyre a week to establish himself as a fighting champion ready to brawl with anyone. McIntyre is off to a fantastic start in his first title run, and WWE needs to keep riding this wave of momentum and feeding McIntyre all the challengers he can handle.
